Emerging from Toronto’s dynamic music scene, Lost Pitch is a Canadian indie rock band redefining the genre with their rich analog tones, modern production, and eclectic influences. Comprising Erick Vidal, Leandro Motta, Ricardo Santos, and Alex Mine, the band crafts immersive soundscapes that blend the nostalgic warmth of classic rock with the raw energy of contemporary alternative music.
Their 2024 debut EP, Friends & Foes, introduced listeners to their signature mix of melodic innovation and introspective storytelling—drawing comparisons to legendary acts like The Beatles, Oasis, and Radiohead. The release was well received, further establishing Lost Pitch within the indie and alternative rock communities. Adding to their artistic reach, the frame-by-frame animated music video for “Not So Sure (Excalibur?)” gained international recognition, earning nominations in multiple film festivals and becoming a finalist at the Toronto Alternative Film Festival and the New York Animation Film Awards.
Now, the band is setting the stage for their next chapter with the release of “Speaking Silences”, a hauntingly emotional new single that captures the essence of their evolving sound. To bring the song’s depth to life, Lost Pitch is unveiling two music videos—an official performance video that immerses viewers in their raw, vintage-inspired aesthetic and an official short film, a cinematic thriller filled with mystery, sensuality, and hidden Easter eggs. This video has been awarded Best Music Video at both the Toronto Alternative Film Festival (Canada) and the Paradise Film Festival (Germany). The video continues its journey as an official selection at numerous other international festivals.
This marks a bold artistic step for the band as they build momentum toward their upcoming full-length album, slated for release in the second half of 2025.
With an unwavering commitment to pushing musical boundaries and evoking deep emotions, Lost Pitch is poised to leave a lasting imprint on the indie and alternative rock landscapes.
